Amsterdam Inn B&B Guest Reviews
I paid the balance in cash to receptionist, then saw the room which was nothing like what was on the internet, he wouldnt refund money or give a receipt. After arguing with him, we decided to walk out, it is small, dirty, creepy. Do not stay here, the sheets were dirty, the ensuite was so small the toilet is in the shower cubicle. I am disgusted that this was listed,I trusted this website

First this B&B has nothing as this website says it has we has NO: *Air Conditioning *Alarm Clock *Coffee Maker *Hair Dryer *Internet Connection * Ironing Board *Telephone!!! Our Room was their "Triple Room" the size of the room was 2 Meters in Width & 3 Meters in Length!! The bathroom didnt have a proper door it looked like a normal wall, as soon as you put your foot into the bathroom, your standing in the shower, the sink is straight above your knees while your using the toilet, i could just fit but anyone tall or large would have no hope of getting on that toilet!! I couldn't even see myself in the mirror in the bathroom as it was so disgustingly unclean!! The beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable!! Also in the room we had a small BROKEN DIRTY fridge next to the bed, also a tiny round table which wasn't clean either! We could hardly open the windows & when you did they would rapidly open through the night while your sleeping!! The TV turned on but picked up NO channels and the remote didn't even work!!! The man that served us was RUDE,on the day of our departure he was BANGING on our bedroom door 1 hour before we needed to leave & then 30minutes before we had to leave he tried to get into our bedroom but luckily i had locked our door! BASICALLY DO NOT GO TO THIS B&B ITS DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!

Good location and free wifi, but that's about where the good points end. Not signed. You need to remember the street number. I was put in the front room behind "reception" Was supposed to be a double room with shared facilities. It had 4 single beds in it two were put together with a blanket but the matresses didn't match. It turned out there was a toilet and shower hidden behind the wall which should have been a nice surprise. The room had a mishmash of stuff in it and looked like it was used for storage and was nothing like the photos. It was also infested with bed bugs. The second B in B&B usually refers to breakfast, as advertised, but none was to be found. Stay away from this place. Book early and get something that takes credit cards and discounts early bookers. This is cash only and isn't much more than a doss house. Not even worthy of being called a hostel.
