Location
The Hotel Beurssraat is ideally located right in the heart of Amsterdam city centre, and is a mere 2 minutes away from Central Station. It offers great access to all of the public transportation systems, and makes getting to and from the airport easy as can be.
Rooms
The facilities are set up almost like a hostel, with rooms for 2, 3, 4, or 5 people. Most are equipped with private bathrooms.
Restaurant
There is no restaurant at the Beursstraat Hotel, and the hotel does not serve breakfast, yet the ideal location of the facility puts you in close walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and cafes.
General
The hotel is close to the world famous Red Light District, and the multilingual staff at the Beursstraat Hotel Amsterdam will be more than happy to offer you directions.

The carpets and walls were filthy. The blankets had burn marks on them and were not clean. The shower however, was clean. The two hand towels that were provided were changed regularly but although cleaned, still had hair on them and were damp. I was disturbed every few hours throughout the night by noisy guests. If the bill had not been paid up front and the City been not been full that week, I would have found somewhere else to stay. Central location right next to the red light district. I haven't stayed in such a sleazy place since my student travelling days.

Clean, basic hotel. Rooms small, but clean & functional.V close to all local attractions. 2-3 mins from Centraal Station. No restaurant etc, but next door has one plus close to all local restaurants, cafes, etc. Recommended, will be staying there again. 24hr reception. Our room had en-suite, not sure if all the rooms have. Great place for a couple of nights stay. PS. Ask for towels on arrival :-)

Basic hotel for those on a budget. But clean and friendly and in a location that couldn't be more central - no more than a couple of hundred yards from Centraal Station, and all that central Amsterdam has to offer!

It's not a fancy hotel, but it has a great location and you get what you pay for.

Absolutely ideal if you just want a clean place to sleep. Superb location right in the middle of the action, but early check-out time of 10.30 am for those who might have overdone it the night before!
