The hotel was pleasant with friendly helpful staff. Very clean and warm. The location was ideal, being a brisk walk or quick tram ride from the main nightlife and tower. The hotel was also very quiet, and had ample parking. Highly Recommended.

I didn't expect too much of a victorian building, but the reception was very good, the hotel, including the bedroom and bathroom were clean and there was plenty of good English food for breakfast. The car parking was very limited, and although allocated a space, I preferred to park on the road. I didn't like my door being knocked on at ten minutes to ten, then at five minutes to ten (a.m.) to make sure I was vacating the room! Otherwise excellent value for money.
