Burlington Hotel Folkestone Guest Reviews
We just had a one night stop over before going on the Eurotunnel. The staff were friendly, I would say the rooms are a little tied but over all fine for a short stay. The breakfast was expensive at £11.50 each as the selection was very basic.

Old fashioned hotel in excellent location close to sea. Strange bathroom which was heated (hot) in summer and had carpeted floor. Clean enough. WiFi in reception area and free parking available were good features.

The restaurant dinner was excellent. The food was delicious and well presented, the desserts were not only innovative, but quite unexpectedly tasty. Bedding could have been much more medern.

This hotel has a lot of history is very interesting as it has retained lots of period charm and is decorated accordingly. The room we stayed in was basic, very small, clean, but showing it's age a bit and could do with a bit of renovation and the double bed was small and old and squeeky but being a basic metal frame enabled one case to be pushed underneath it to give us more living space! The dining, bar and lounge areas were very good. All the staff we came into contact with were excellent. The close proximity to the beach and being only a small walk to train station or town was very good and I would recommend it for anyone wishing to stay in Folkestone.
