Our stay at cameley lodge bristol was great, its a lovely peaceful place to be in, the service was very good and they made us feel very welcome. we would go back any day.

Cameley Lodge is an independent family run hotel - which is both its charm and its downfall. The management is poor and the staff rather basically trained - you arrive at a bar - but the instead of settling you in by selling you a drink they insist on you going to the reception desk which is really inefficient. On leaving i was given the wrong bill. Quote of the stay...'what food would recommend?' ' i'don't know i have never eaten here.' part of the training if the hotel is serious about its staff.

A bit off the beaten track & over 10 long miles from Bristol centre but set in a beautiful rural location. The hotel is brand new with excellent facilities. The food is first rate and real value for money.
