Crestfield Hotel London Guest Reviews
Was budget but thats what we expected, great location right near the tube station

A wonderful surprise after what we'd been told about London accomodation. Our room was spacious, clean with excellent hotel staff & an easy, pleasant walk to catch the "Tube"into London each day. Breakfast was included & was delightful in the sunroom. The wi-fi for my laptop worked well so all in all I could highly reccommend this place to any other overseas visitors.

Kings Cross is a pleasant place to stay whilst in London. The staff are herrful and friendly. Elderly folk especially, should be warned of the five flights of narrow stairs with landings and no lifts available. This made the carriage of travel bags very difficult to manouvre.

Have stayed at Crestfield four times over the past two years. The hotel was quite fresh first time we visited - now it needs some renovation. Espacially bathrooms are smelly and not very delicate. Rooms are small - as common in London. Terrible breakfast but nice small outside garden if weather allows. The area isn't pretty, but location very conveniant since St, Pancras and Kings Cross stations are two minutes walk away.

If you are knocking 70 years of age, three flights of stairs to your room do not sit well, so this is a big minus. Situated handy to St Pancras - Kings Cross, this hotel is ideally located for arrivals / departures by rail and has a good ( one hour) rail connection to Heath Row. With a big underground junction handy, this is a perfect headquarters for "raids" on the sights and tourist spots of London. Internet is theoretically available on the ground floor but I could connect only in the lobby itself. No dedicated luggage space in the rooms, no space for a chair, no minibar; no phone in the rooms (the payphone downstairs eats pound coins), we are a bit short on services and space. Reception staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast is varied and adequate, served by friendly staff.
