Location
Situated in l'Eixample, D'Uxelles Hostal is at the very centre of Barcelona, which gives you excellent access to the main attractions of the city. The gothic quarter and the Cathedral, the famous Ramblas, Rambla the Catalunya, Sagrada Familia, are located just a few metres away.
Rooms
For being just a hostal, all rooms are exquisitely and pleasantly decorated with warm colors and ornaments. The mosaic bathrooms are different, unique as well as just marvellous.
Restaurant
There is no restaurant available on site and the hostal is split into two buildings. For those staying at annexe Gran Via 667, breakfast will be served at the main building.
General
The hotel has a cosy lobby for guests to relax after a tiring day with friends or business colleagues.

D'Uxelles Hostal Barcelona Guest Reviews
Although the hostel was located conveniently to the city centre, the noise from the traffic and rooms next door was intrusive. The hostel was also very over priced for the facilities and comfort. Shower had to be hand held as the wall fixing was broken, bed frames noisy and were twin even though double had been booked. I would not re-visit.

A bit hard to find and no parking at the hotel...Garage parking near by..30 euros for 24 hours...not bad for a city centre...Near metro.Would use again for a cheap time in Barcelona.

D'Uxelles is in a good location - easy walk to the main La Rambles street and restaurants but that is about all it had going for it. The rooms need some work as our shower head was broken in 2 rooms we had. The room was on a main road on the 2nd level and it was very noisey with all the passing traffic. The reception staff do not speak very good English so you need to come prepared with all your own maps and information. Like everything you get what you pay for. It was cheap & clean & in a good location.
