The hotel was very clean and the room was nice. The location is great. My only complaint was the room was a little chilly from the 2 large windows. Other than that, it was great. I would definitely stay there again!

Perfect location on Manhattan. Good amenities. Nice crossants and muffins available for breakfast with your coffee in the lobby. Good price. Only small complaint: Dirty carpets.

Small room, quiet and clean, with good sized bathroom, mini fridge and great location. However, guests can't control room temperature so it was hot & stuffy, and ice only available from restaurant downstairs, and hallways were being vacuumed at 6pm. Staff were cordial but not very helpful, and didn't seem able to multi-task, and I had to wait an overly long time to be registered. I'd stay there again due to location and price but it was only average.

I stayed at the DaVinci for one night to attend a recital at the Met Opera. The location was ideal. This is an old fashioned hotel with very small rooms (although the bathroom was as large as that in the Sheraton Balitmore!). Even though the room was small and the furnishings old, everything was spotlessly clean and I spent little time in the room anyway (didn't even turn on the flat screen tv). Free wifi was spotty, but--FREE. The free breakfast of coffee and croissants was fine. The room was cold, although it had a steam radiator I might have been able to turn up--I like it cold for sleeping so this was actually an advantage. I would definitely stay there again. If you have stayed in a B&B in Europe 20 years ago you'll have an idea of this delightful place. Don't expect a Marriott, Sheraton, or Hilton and you will be pleased!
