Eynsham Hall Hotel Oxford Guest Reviews
A beautiful main building in a beautiful setting. Our room was unfortunately in a drab modern building a walk away from the main mansion. The room was basic. It is uplifting to go out into such beautiful grounds and it is uplifting to simply get out of the room. Breakfast in the main buiding was good. the location for tourism or recreation was great. Overall it is good value for money.

Beautiful English country country mansion set in acres of parkland near Witney. Very impressive and a super venue for a wedding etc. I booked a twin room which they seemed unable to provide. We had a mini suite, comprising of 2 rooms. One had a double bed (which was quite hard) and the other a double sofa bed with a very thin mattress. This seemed a bit mean especially thinking about how much we were paying for the privilege of staying there. Anyway, the breakfast was gorgeous and there was p lenty of it. A lovely buffet set out in a lovely oak-panelled room. There's a leisure centre which we didn;t have time to use. The pool isn't huge and would be crowded if a handful of people were in it. Overall impression of the place is very good and I would certainly stay there again - but NOT on a sofa bed!

We were looking for a nice country getaway for the weekend and this location and period building was just amazing. The hotel gardens and grounds were lovely and ideal for a relaxing evening stroll. We didn't book a table for the restaurant but had dinner at the bar. The food was very good and reasonably priced for the quality. The only disappointment was that the rooms themselves were not in the main building itself, and our room was quite small. To give you an idea, one side of the bed was wedged against the wall. There was a shower but no bath. However, the hotel does have a gym, pool and sauna. Though it was only open until 7:30. All in all it was a bargain for the nice location and the facilities. Especially since the full English/continental breakfast buffet was included in the price.

Arriving at the hotel, we were impressed by the grand looking building and the interior certainly lived up to expectations. The service throughout was professional and friendly. We felt very welcome and comfortable. Only one bad point - coffee at breakfast was very weak and not good. The room itself was in the lodge and not the main building so the decor was not quite as grand but was clean and there was everything you needed. We even had a separate living room, small entrance hall and two bathrooms, like a small apartment! We had only booked a standard room and were not expecting this. We were travelling with our baby girl so it was absolutely perfect for our needs. Will definately stay again and recommend to friends.
