Pleasantand very hepful staff. Hotel gets A1 for cleanliness and quiet. It is ideally located for sightseeing, being close Royal Palace, main streets, city tour bus route and harbour tour dock. Many restaurants in streets behind the hotel. Only downside is the steps into the hotel-- manageable, but not easy for those with walking difficulties. That apart, I'd certainly go back and would certainly recommend to family and friends

The gym was not good, the tv small and old, and the room standard not more than ordinary. Great location! Running outside along the water is recommended.

Hotel was sought after on your web sight,accordingly purchased as 5-star. 1st room given to us was small,minute place to move between bottom of bed and wall, 1 easy chair,view to side of next building and dark. 2nd room better in all above respects - but the power point in the bathroom was loose and unuseable without falling apart. Reported to reception who needed to move us yet again. Much better room but cramped bathroom and insufficient wardrobe space for our needs. Two windows could not be adjusted since the restraining mechanism had no connection to the inner window part. Three of our breakfasts were held in the bar area - restaurant was being repainted. All hot items for the meal were luke warm to cold. With no doubt whatsoever NOT A 5-STAR HOTEL from our experiences. It could in no way be favourably compared with the hotel we stayed at in Barcelona and I honestly feel [this website] should not recommend First Hotel Reisen as a 5-Star hotel.
