Flipper Hotel Amsterdam Guest Reviews
The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was helpful - and the morning breakfast buffet was very plentiful and the hours for it were perfect. The rooms and shared bath facilities are very, very small - but once again, very clean facilities. If you are desiring to stay close to city central it is definitely not the hotel for you. If you want to feel like you are truly staying in one of the local neighborhoods where you can get a feel for things locally then this hotel is ideal. It was a short walk to the tram line and a short distance from the Heineken Brewery. We were actually glad to be able to go home at night and stay in a quiet area away from the noisy city crowds which we also participated in.

My single room was extremely small, but the shared toilet facilities were the sort you might see on a Eurostar train: you couldn't swing a cat. Limited range of breakfast but nevertheless quite friendly staff. I would not say it was a poor hotel, but I'm sure for the price I paid you could get better value elsewhere in Amsterdam.
