In a convenient location for the trainstation. There seemed to be 2 parts to the hotel - I was in the back part where the hallways etc are a bit worse for wear, however the room was good. Be aware that one section has rooms on level 6 but the lifts only go to level 5 so you have to carry your bags up the stairs. When they gave me a room on this floor they didnt tell me this until I went back to reception when I couldnt find a Level 6 button in the lift. They changed me to a room on another floor when I requested it

Excellent public areas; my bedroom (307) looked as though it had a recent refurb that wasn't finished - wardrobe cut into the wall and not propoerly bedded in. Excelent restauant - food, service and atmosphere were a delight.

It was very cold in Brussels and the room was very cold it was not haeted, and when I ask for blanket they didn't find any. I took 24h internet connection and it cuts every 5 mn, the hotel is very bad and people are not welcoming.

1. The days before checking in after having booked the hotel, I was worried about the place because other hotel booking sites rated this hotel very badly. However, it turned out to be a decent hotel in terms of the location and the price. 2. Never try to walk to this hotel with your luggage. Although it claims to be just 10 minutes' walk from the Midi, the way that leads to the hotel is rough and uneven. Besides, if you are in the Midi station for the first time, you would get lost finding the right exit out of the total 10+ (hint: use the one that passes Haagen Datz and Subway Sandwich). 3. From Brussels airport, don't take a taxi. They will rip you off. Although the normal price should be about 20 Euros, everybody ends up paying about 55 Euros, local included. Try the train instead. It costs about 3 to the Midi and then take a taxi to the hotel.
