Hampshire Hotel Savoy Rotterdam Guest Reviews
The hotel was nice, the service good and the area OK. The rooms were large and clean, but a bit dark (only 4 small lamps in the "bedroom"). The bathroom was spacious and looked new, but there was no heating in the floor. We did not hav time to visit the fitness sentre in the basement. We did not try the breakfast either, as we found 16€ p.p. to be a bit high! The hotel is located not fare from the city centre, and it is just about 5 miutes walk to to the main shopping streets. A taxi to the central station was 7,5€, and there are also several options of public transportation not fare from the hotel.

nice little hotel other than the room near the stairs and doors do not make for a good nights sleep.

The most strategic hotel in Rotterdam besides the staff were very friendly..However for the superior room that I stayed for the past 13 nights, I only managed to get the mineral water & fruits for 3 days..the rest was history..

Would stay here again. Bed was confortable, room was more than adequate, breakfast in the hotel was very good. Location was quiet.

When I arrived at the hotel on the Saturday evening, I was told that they had no record of my booking. Apparently the booking agent, Orbitz, had not emailed them any details of my booking. This was one of several bookings that they had had similar problems with As they were full on the Saturday night, they transferred me to the NH Atlanta in Central Rotterdam and paid for my taxi transfer. The hotel went out of their way to assist me and I would pass on my thanks to the receptionist, Kimberley, who dealt with my problem in an extremely professional manner. When I arrived back at the hotel on the Sunday evening, I was informed that they had upgraded me to a Superior room, free of charge. My treatment by the hotel, despite the problem not being of their own making, was first class.
