very friendly staff would stay again

I usually stay at [other hotel chain] up and down the country. Your customer service by comparison was very poor. No genuine welcome, bar looked closed and smelled of overcooked veg, breakfast greeting was sloppy, my room number was announced to everyone when I checked in.

Good service (very good in Dining room) from staff in hotel, except for one member of staff on reception (Kim) very unhelpful even overheard giving bad service on telephone not promoting hotel. Would stay at the hotel again.

Great staff, good location for Sports City, but just a little too far out for the city centre.

This hotel was extremely clean and comfortable with an excellent quality dinner served with huge portions! It is not that close to the City Centre - although a taxi ride to and from Picadilly only cost £4/£5. You could also buy the daily tram ticket. The hotel was excellent; our room was large with plenty of clean linen and lovely mugs for a cuppa in the room!
