Location

Stayed here for 2 nights with my 10 year old daughter and we loved it - totally exceeded expectations The staff were very helpful, the room was a nice size and the beds were comfortable. There is a pool and jacuzzi which we made full use of. I paid £55 for the first night room only through Hotel Club, we liked it so much I booked another night directly with the hotel and paid £64 including breakfast. The breakfast was buffet style, with many cooked and continental breakfast items to choose from. The only real downside was the noise from other rooms and doors banging early in the morning - I usually take earplugs when I stay in hotels but I'd forgotten them - I recommend taking some as it is a stopover hotel after all, so noise is to be expected. The food was expensive, but as it is only 12 miles to the Trafford Centre we drove there to eat and go to the cinema, and on the second night we drove into Altrincham to eat in Frankie and Benny's and go to the cinema again!

First impressions were good. 3 miles from terminal but only takes about 5 mins. I booked a non smoking double room to be told that there were none available when i checked in. After a little discussion we were upgraded to an executive suite for free which i thought was pretty fair. Executive Room size was great but i cannot comment on the standard room sizes or facilities. Shower and bathroom facilities were perfect. One thing to note though, It doesn't say on this website that you get free parking in the hotel car park for up to 7 days/nights if you stay the night before flying(You Do). We had already booked Valet Parking if we had known maybe we would of used the free parking. Dining facilities were nice and clean, Bar area relaxed with free newspapers. All in all it was a very comfortable hotel my only problem was the smell in some of the stairwells although thats being picky. I would stay again if traveling from Manchester.

I was pleased with the room I was given as I had reserved a single room and it was Not a box room ( as often single rooms are). Good meal in dining room evening and excellent breakfast. Will stay there again.
