Jesmond subway station is just three stops from Newcastle Central station and the Hotel is situated just seven kilometres from Newcastle International airport. Road links are excellent with the A167 and A1 close by.

Excellent value for this comfortable hotel. Good inhouse restaurant. 200m from the metro which makes it very convenient for all the attractions of Newcastle and the coast Will definitely use this hotel again

Once the Hotel is finished it will be brilliant. The boarding outside as you arrive is a bit off putting. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Drinking water in the rooms or an ice machine in the corridor would be good. If the air conditioning was working that would also have helped as the room was very hot. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Building work taking place during stay. Hotel in a convenient siting,staff very helpful,food quite good. Room adequate but dated.Suited my stay very well.

We stayed on the second floor and our route through the building was as follows: up the stairs, through a hallway, up more stairs, through the conference rooms hallway, up more stairs, and then strangely down the stairs. The pool is a good feature but found it a little small especially when there are more than 6 people in it at one time. Close to Jesmond Station but awkwardly only one stop to the centre of town. Nothing interesting in the surroundings.

The shower and tv in the room did not work at all. The light shade above the bed fell off in my hand when searching for the light switch in the dark. The bar area was full of stale cigar smoke. The reception failed to set up an account for me so I was unable to charge drinks to my room. There are alarming warning signs posted througout the hotel warning of severe punishment (clamping and a £90 release fee) for daring to park in the hotel car park (as a resident!) without a permit. Breakfast is a dire and drab affair. The credit card machine had broken down when I tried to check out in the morning. I was promised that a receipt would be sent in the post to my home. Needless to say, they didn't send one. The reception staff happilly chatted amongst themselves about wanting to leave and couldn't care less about my comments on checkout. I doubt the shower or tv will have been fixed. No notes were taken. Steer well clear of this hotel.
