Hotel Azur Takeshiba Tokyo Guest Reviews
Great location for first time visitor to Tokyo. Walking distance to attractions (Tokyo Tower and Hama-Rikyu Garden) as well as all forms of public transportation. Nice selection of restaurants and bars as well. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean room with nice view.

A nice enough place, just a little dated as others have mentioned on various sites. Overall if you pay around Y7,000 a night I think it's a great deal. I thought the location wouldn't be good but it actually worked out well- Not far from the MRT Daimon station, and the JR line station was very close- which worked out great because I went to the town of Kamakura where the "Great Buddah" is. I got on there, changed trains a few stations away and was on my way. From NRT you can take the train to Asakusa station and then the Toi Asakusa line to Daimon station. It's about 5-10 minutes walk from there to the hotel and half way there you can see the building in the sky. It's a tall building and you'll either have a view of the bay area or a view of the city (including Tokyo tower). For a good price I suggest this hotel. PS. Breakfast is Y1500 which I think isn't a good price so I opted to eat at a nearby place- there's a little store and a Wendy's within walking distance.
