Location
Set in the heart of the Toulouse-Albi-Carcassonne Triangle, the Hotel Abbaye Ecole de Soreze in the lower foothills of the Montagne Noire or Black Mountain. This is also close to the Abbey and its park that are listed as Historical Monument as well as lies within the boundaries of the Haut Languedoc Nature Park.

Spacious, unique building in lovely village. Rooms large and clean. Only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer to explore surroundings. Green countryside and rolling hills. Quiet area.

C'est magnifique! The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are wonderful, the staff are polite, happy to help, and patient when it came to English speakers. The rooms were clean and had lovely views, the hotel is essentially the centrepiece of the town so location is perfect, and wow! the price was only €50 - amazing.

Clean and with pleasant staff, even the superior rooms were not exactly luxurious, it was spartan and austere. However given the building's history as an old military barracks, it was true to character.

Very nice place Historic military & religious building. There are two buildings, in the main one you can find good rooms, but in the small one the rooms are simple and poor but clean.

Beautiful setting, quiet and tranquil in the historical village of Soreze near Revel. We found the staff and food excellent. Room, shower and bed really excellent. We would go back there because the service was such high quality and the hotel and surroundings were so peaceful and sedate. We found a couple of bars in the village where everyone was used to welcoming visitors and many of the buildings displayed plaques of those who had lived and worked there.
