Hotel Villa Laguna Venice Guest Reviews

4.6 out of 5

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was probably the most romantic place we could have stayed. The views from the hotel are amazing, the suites very homely and the staff could not have been anymore friendly or helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

Good position on the lagoon side. Beware if you get a road-side room or suite, it's noisy without double glazing and it seems that every car on the Lido goes past about 7a.m. as everyone goes to work in Venice via boat station, which is right alongside hotel. At least it gets you going early to see the delights of Venice. The staff were excellent and most helpful. Delightful Lounge/Breakfast room with good choice and great views. Drinks out on the terrace in the evening with the sun going down over Venice, perfect.

An excellent location near the boats. Didn't realize that the regularity of the time table and time to St Marks Square would have made staying on the Lido as a more economical visit to Venice.

This hotel is really great value for money. It's the cheapest hotel I stayed in Italy, but yet the room is the biggest. It's a suite actually. There's a bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen (extra charge to use though). Had two balconies, even though my suite was facing the street, you still can get a view of the lagoon through the side balcony. Great breakfast room with fantastic views. Good location, just 10 minutes by waterbus to St Marks square.

The location was perfect and the stuff was very friendly. One remark is that there are different kind of rooms (size, with/without lagoon view, etc.), and it seemed better to reserve as early as possible since they told me something to the effect that they assign the room on the "first come, get the best". Anyway, it is always the case with hotels that they have different rooms and it is somewhat nonsense to compare the normal price with the discounr one without any specification of the room types etc. and we really had a pleasant stay there! They told me that the hotel will be ranked as 4 stars next year with better facilities (relaxation room and more). Let's see!
