Situated on the banks of Loch Linnhe, a beautiful Highland loch, the Innseagan House Hotel is an ideal place to reside and explore the city of Fort William, which is one of the most popular towns in the Scottish Highlands for hill-walking, skiing, mountaineering, cycling and fishing.

Unfortunately this Fort William hotel only offers a creative Scottish Breakfast, however there are many great places to get an evening meal in and around Fort William. The Public Bar is an ideal place wind up your day, where you can sit and enjoy many Scottish whiskeys, after a long day of sightseeing or other activities.

While staying at this hotel or visiting the Fort William area, guests can take boat trips to nearby Seal Island and Ben Nevis, which provides an opportunity to enjoy a spectacular panoramic mountain view from the top station of the Gondola cable car. You can also take a day trip to the Isle of Skye and to the Loch Ness as well as Inverness via a breathtaking drive through the Great Glen.

The Hotel is a grim looking building, in need of some attention. We were kept awake one night by what sounded like drums - it was the rain by-passing the gutters onto an assortment of items outside our rom window. The room we had was tiny and the bathroom full of condensation mould. Staff were all from the Eastern block of Europe and service was terrible, as soon as we arrived the full cost of the stay was demanded prior to our seeing the room. Breakfast was good and the dining room pleasant, although served by a man in jeans who didn't seem interested. The location is on the loch about a mile out of town.

I stayed in both this hotel and another local hotel on business in the space of two weeks. While the staff were friendly and helpful the room was much smaller and higher priced than a single room at the Alexandra Hotel. Breakfast was basic and presented on a cold plate. My stay was functional and on this occasion this arrangement suited.

Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel the staff were very friendly and helpful. We also had a fantastic meal in the resturant in very comfortable surroundings.
