The breakfast was excellent and I was very happy with the onsite facilities that the hotel had to offer as there was a choice of three differnt pools, a soccer pitch and table tennis tables as well as a gym, spa, and tennis courts

A lovely, full-services resort that provided the ideal place to relax for a few days. The three pools were lovely, the restaurant choices phenomenal (Prime Rib and Maya should not be missed), and there was plenty to do on site. I would have liked to see an outdoor jacuzzi, and chair spots on the beach filled up by midday, but these are minor quibbles. Not cheap, but the quality showed. Its location in the Marina means that it is surrounded mostly by other resorts and residential buildings, but there is a Walk with some shops and restaurants near by, and taxis downtown are fairly cheap if you want to venture off the resort.
