Location
This hotel is located on the Stadhouderskade in the centre of Amsterdam, close to the Heineken Brewery and within walking distance of the Museumplein where the world famous museums may be found, as well as the Rembrandtsplein, one of the main places to go out in the evenings, and the Ferdinan Bolstraat, with its busy bars and restaurants.
Rooms
The bedrooms are medium in size but in good condition. Although basic, they do have pale wood furntiure and a small desk and the bathrooms are also in good condition.
Restaurant
This hotel serves breakfast only in a room on the ground floor. It is a large and bright room that slightly resembles a cafeteria but tea and coffee may be consumed throughout the day.
General
This hotel has a good location and is suitable for most clientelle.

Solid 2 star hotel within walking distance of the Centre of town. Linen, bedding and bathroom were very good I would have rated higher on cleanliness but carpet a bit grubby. Complimentary bottle of wine in room was a a lovely touch. Front desk guy was polite and welcoming. I would use this hotel again.

Would be better if the room had a opening window or ventilation as it got a bit stuffy in the room, also the big spotlight shining directly into the room got a bit annoying during the night.

Will not stay at this hotel the next time. Reasons: - Too much noise from the street - Shared door between two rooms without any sound isolation - I could hear everything my neighbours were talking about. - Non-smoking rooms are declared but there was a smoke smell in the room and ash on the external window sill - Room is dusty - TV remote was VERY dirty Several positive points: - breakfast is included into room price - close to city center (20-25 mitues of walking from Central Station)

An excellent hotel. Not expensive and offeres you everything you need being on holidays in Amsterdam. I definately would recommend it.
