This hotel is in a lovely setting. Superb location and staff. Dinner in the dining room was wonderful. Delicious breakfast. A real treat.

The choice of evening menu in the brasserie was extremely limited. No waiter to serve, only the barman who had to do the two jobs and was rather slow. Breakfast was average, but foreign waitresses did not help. Despite being ordered when we arrived in the dining room, and requesting it several times in between, our tea/coffee and toast arrived after we had eaten our cereal and cooked breakfast. Too late. Apart from that the receptionist was polite and helpful, the rooms were excellent, and most reasonably priced - we booked last minute on the internet.
