The elegant Macdonald Houstoun House Edinburgh West is set within 20 acres of grounds providing a tranquil location from which to explore the area. Just a few km distant are the Museum of Scottish Life as well as Ingliston Motor Museum. For recreation there are numerous high quality golfing courses in the vicinity.

Macdonald Houstoun House Hotel Edinburgh Guest Reviews
This hotel is well out of Edinburgh city, but very lose to the train line with plenty of parking. A car is a must. Very nice rooms, we were expecting a hotel of this standard to have broadband available in the rooms but they only have a Hotspot in the bar. No other internet available, which is unusual for a hotel if this rating. The hotel is hard to find as the sign is hidden by some trees, hopefully these will soon be cut.
