New Steine Hotel Brighton Guest Reviews

3.8 out of 5

Cleanliness was in general good but the bathroom could have been cleaned better as there were hairs on the floor and in the shower. Very happy people helping you to check in/out (my checkout took too long...) The food is great and a decent selection of wine. Parking is easy considering it is in the centre of town -- NCP is only 50-100 yeards away. I would not hesitate going back.

Service excellent; room small but well equipped - very typical Brighton; location, dependent on taste good or bad as right in centre; parking, awful - expensive and nowhere near the hotel [not great for older people with mobility issues], yet again, not fault of hotel as parking in Brighton is holistically shocking. Very good value though and lovely owners. Stay here if arriving by train, want to be in the middle of the town and want a comfortable guest house/boutique experience.

This is not a Hotel. This is a pension. Very kind people indeed, but much too expensive. We'd rather give it one or maybe two stars instead of four. Although we payed 20 euro more for room with seaview, we could only see the sea if we reached out of the window for almost 1 meter. In our opinion: this is 'fraud'.

The very friendly and helpful staff made staying here a delight, their recommendations for local restaurants were excellent. The breakfasts were very well cooked. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
