Norbreck Castle Hotel Blackpool Guest Reviews
The Hotel is tatty! We booked , no smoking, accomodation on a B&B basis. All of the fire doors were pegged open! Our room stank of smoke. The window was screwed shut. There were no towels, after waiting in for half an hour we went out. The food hatch downstairs had rude staff and the bar was over-run serviced by only one member of staff at that time. Breakfast was truely terrible. The food was cheap quality mush. The serving staff were attentive although rushed. Our waiter had a hygeine problem! Guests are allowed to eat outside of the restaurant, where their pots stayed after they had gone taking up the table spaces. (as if no manager was on duty) We stayed for two nights but our friends checked out and found alternative accomodation. The entertainment was supprisingly good. best thing- the drop box for the key when checking out, so there is one plus point. I feel that the price paid for accomodation should ressemble what's on offer, very dissatisfied with this short break.

staff could have been more friendly and polite when requesting information, however lady that cleaned rooms was friendly. It is a very large and busy hotel and therefore can be a little confusing with no signs on doors to say private function only, also no price lists on dining room door to say how much dinner costs, you have to book the day before if wish to dine in the evenings ,not enough information relating to entertainment for the evening

The room was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't have a sea view, but there again we didn't go away to spend our time looking out of the window. Our room was located 2 floors above the conference venue which was hosting a Line Dancing Weekend which meant we were kept awake on our second evening by loud music and loud revellers returning to their rooms.
