An excellent hotel situated in a beautiful setting very close to the City of Chester and easy access to North Wales. The accommodation is spotless with very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant known as the Chequers offers a range of excellent food and wine for all.

Recommend they purchase a fire guard as the 5am fire evatuation was not on our planned agenda (though the open log fire did look lovely in the bar the night before).

a lovely hotel that offers good value for money and good service, need to sort out the bar area as there is a large room next door going to waste (in the evenings!!) would recommend and wil stay there everytime i visit the area , the staff are great

Excellent location which is quiet at night but close to the A55 main road. Rooms are large and comfortable.
