The Seven Mountains envelop Bergen and provide a dramatic backdrop to the city. The summit of one of them, Ulriken, is accessible by aerial tramway, with a restaurant at the top and free telescopes to take in the phenomenal view of the city. As a Capital of Culture however, Bergen has a fabulous arts and culture scene.
