Finding a good hotel in Berlin for a reasonable price was quite difficult until I came across the Ramada Hotel Berlin Mitte. The hotel is idealy placed only a short walk from many of the main sights as well as having a U-Bahn station little more than a 2 minute walk away. The service was good and the staff were friendly and spoke very good English. The rooms were very clean and comfortable though quite compact and the toilet/shower facilities were excellent. My only criticism about this hotel would be the bar/restaurant prices were found them to be a little on the expensive side apart from that though I would a recommended this hotel.

good clean rooms. Good location. However bar prices very expensive. If cheaper, more people would use the bar! Front desk efficient, but not overly friendly. Having said that, would stay there again for the room price.

Nice hotel - very close to a U-Bahn station. Good thing if you've bought a one-day ticket.
