TV size is too small and it is not a flat panel type.

It was the third time I have stayed at this hotel. It is just a few steps away from St Stephans church. Location is excellent!! The last time we just got a room in which the aircon did't work - so it got really hot. We complained and got another room that was cooler! Very nice breakfast in a very nice dinig room! I would really recommend this hotel.

This hotel felt like a step back in time (except for the bathroom which was fine!) - first impact as soon as you step through the door to your room is "so 70s"...even though everything is clean and nothing is particularly worn out, it just doesn't seem like a 4 star hotel. Thankfully the price was suited to the room offered. Only that instead of a double bed, we were given two twin beds pushed together, with separate sheets and covers. Good breakfast.

We had a most enjoyable stay. The location was brilliant, the room spacious, if somewhat noisy in the early morning, and the breakfast was excellent. We would definitely return and would recommend the Royal to our friends.
