Location
The Royal Plaza is right inside Walt Disney World within walking distance of Downtown Disney and shopping venues. Just beyond the resort are the Arabian Nights dinner show, Sea World, Universal Studios and the World of Harry Potter.

The designer furnished guest rooms at the upmarket Royal Plaza have plush bedding, marble bathrooms, oversized bathtubs and high speed Internet.

Perks of staying at the Royal Plaza in the Walt Disney World Resort are the shuttle transport to the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Animal Kingdom, priority seating for dinner shows and preferred tee times for golf. The resort has conference rooms, an outdoor pool and whirlpool, lighted tennis courts, fitness centre, business centre and guest laundry. Those with a hire car may choose to visit Cocoa Beach or the Kennedy Space Centre.

My only issue with the hotel was the shady fees. You pay $10 a night for parking. You also pay a daily resort fee. I was waiting to see if there was a air cleaning fee for our breathing. Don't get me wrong the hotel was BEAUTIFUL, but I hate shadiness. We thought we were paying $78 a night but after fees and all it was about $108 a night. The hotel is great and the service is great I just wish they would cut the fees and just put it in the price per night so you don't feel like you are getting a deal until you see all the fees when you checkout. I hope this helps.

Great location. Room was available at check in and upgraded us to deluxe. Room was big, clean and temp was comfortably cool. Did not appreciate the $10.00 parking fee surprise. Parking card a bit annoying, have to use to enter and exit. Have stayed several times in the past and will stay again.

My second stay at this hotel. Great service! Friendly staff and very clean. You have a shuttle to get to the parks And other popular locations.

Iv stayed at Royal Plaza four times in the past 6 months. I have to say its great!! Its in the perfect place, if you are going to disney. the shuttle service to the parks is great. best resort:)

We were celebrating our 43rd anniversary and the hotel was nice enought to upgrade us. The staff was excellant, friendly and very accomadating. During breakfast which came with room, we watched a man make ballons for children. We have never seen someone make the animals, super heros, etc. like he does. He was great and had the attention of the children the entire time. Thank you Royal Plaza for a great stay. Hotel located very close to attractions, resturants and great view from our room of Disney World.
