Rumba Beach Resort & Spa at Caloundra was a last minute booking for us which turned out to be a wonderful experience! The linen was of the highest quality, as was everything about Rumba. The attention paid to the little things eg; a selection of pillows available on request, top quality fittings, coffee making machine to mention a few. The range of in-house movies available was great and at a reasonable price. Close to shops/restaurants/beach plus the cocktail bar was a big hit! Well done Rumba, we'll be back! Cheers.

Great apartments with good cooking facilities. Nice pool area. Short walk across the road to Bulcock Beach. Recommended.

Great location with easy walking to town centre and also to the beachside cafes. Good sized rooms and very comfortable. Good view across Pumistone Passage. Very enjoyable stay.

We stayed for 6nights mid January 2010. We loved the location, just across the road is the channel that leads to the surf. The water is clear and calm (and warm) and early morning and mid afternoon the tide will calmly drift you along. If you get bored of that just a little further down the beach are some rock pools to explore, the ocean waves and a shallow pond area when the tide is out. Perfect if you are holiday with kids. We have two girls 3 & 7yrs and they don't normally like the beach but they loved this. The pools are excellent, there is a lap pool, a toddler pool and a larger pool and a beautifully warm spa large enough to fit at least ten people. The poolside bar is really good too and they make some yummy cocktails. We loved the room too, very new and clean.. We will be staying there again!
