Initially I was disappointed by the presentation- curtains that didn't open, and decor was not as depicted in photographs. The bed too did not have a mattress protector and sheet was directly on mattress which was too hard. However staff were willing and quick to repair and accommodate my requests and I ended up finding the apartment very comfortable and perfect for my needs. My two London based daughters were able to stay some nights quite comfortably. Close to tube station, easy to get to from Heathrow. Kitchen ideal for simple meals, washing machine a bonus. No gym facility as advertised. As a regular visitor to London I found the apartment very satisfactory for my needs. Something as simple as a bunch of flowers would really lift the apartment and put it closer to 4 star, improve bedding and towels and it would be there.

When I came to take a shower in the evening there was a tiny trickle of freezing cold water. The staff assured me that everything was fine and a plumber was draining the system. This happened for most of the rest of the night - trying to take a shower or flush the toilet and the staff assuring me that everything would be ok in a few hours. Next morning water had come through the ceiling in the shower room very close to the light connection. The staff sent someone to inspect the leak and nothing further was done. I was offered an uncleaned room to take a shower in and once again a small trickle of freezing water came out. When I checked out later that day I asked to speak to the manager and was told he was away and if I wanted to contact him I could email him. I received no apology, no compensation and had to attend a very important business meeting having not showered in over 24 hours. I would NOT stay in this hotel again NOR would I recommend it to my worst enemy.

Stayed only one night, so difficult to form a conclusive impression. However, was very pleased with overall quality.

Vey new and clean Apart hotel, perfect for families (2 adults & 2 kids), perfect location, close to underground and local stores
