Very good location, on the Singel canal, close to the station and to the Dam. Friendly staff. Basic, but good breakfast. I will stay there again. Highly recommended.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Located in a very central but quite quiet part of Amsterdam. Very good value-for-money, I would definately return.

I would recommend the hotel to anyone else and would certainly use it again on my next visit to Amsterdam! The staff were very helpful and spoke very good english.

I booked the hotel because of its location - good (but rooms at the front of the hotel are noisy) and the reviews that I had read of it. However the reviews had obviously been written 5 - 6 years ago and I found the hotel in urgent need of a make-over eg bedrooms needed re-decorating, bathrooms upgrading, windows double glazing etc. Having said that it was clean and the staff were friendly so overall no major complaints but I did feel let down when I got there.

as previous people said the rooms are small but functional- the bathroom is clean but needs updating. however the price location and staff were exceptional would recommend this for value & location but not sorted to those who want to spend time in their hotel other than for sleeping ....
