Perfect located hotel if you want to stay close to everything. Baker street tube station 1 block away. Rooms very spacy, compared to other hotels in the area. We asked for a twin room but had 4 beds in our room, and a lot of space between. Nice bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Breakfast could have been better, Coffee/tea/hot Chocolate/milk yoghurt, toast, marmalade, ceareals, it's worth the price you pay for the rooms. The coffee machine was free to use during the day, until 11 pm.

I arrived at Hotel with door open to public and no one at reception. I rung number and a person arrived and I checked in to my room. The room was not very clean and the towels on bed I would not have used them on my dogs at home. Window was propped open with brick and in window sill it was filthy. I did not feel at all safe as room was as end of corridor at disused stairwell with items everywhere. There was not even a safe to lock any valuables in. I immediately left to find other accommodation. I did not stay there and certainly would not recommend to anyone. I do not know how you can advertise this on your website. It was appalling.

Liked the big room, and the location was good. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again.

I stayed at the Somerset hotel because the hotel I had originally booked was full and [website] suggested this one. I had read some reviews regarding the poor quality of the service and unfortunately I experienced it myself. There was no one at the reception at any time! They kept saying they were "helping a customer", even though we got there at 2pm... I only saw two members of staff. And very unhelpful ones. There was also no one there for check out, and were told (by phone) ro just leave our luggage behind the empty reception desk (which we didn't, of course). The room and toilet were tiny but that is ok. The level of cleanliness was acceptable. We didn't have toilet paper though. And the drawers of the small desk in our room were full of stuff left behind by previous guests: medicines, creams books, etc... The only good thing to say about this hotel is its location: close to oxford street (15mins walk). I would not stay there again!
