The Constitution Inn Boston Guest Reviews
Very good. Super value, I shopped around on websites until I found this deal. We went swimming in the Y pool-attached to the hotel. Free shuttle takes you to the T-stop or you can walk to it. Take the T from airport to T-stop, get free shuttlle. Hotel is on the Freedom Trail so we walked it right into the city. Room was cleaned every day. Ask for kitchenette, you get a big frig, a stove, microwave. Take your own pot, paper plates, plastic utensils. No supplies come with the kitchen. Saves big to eat breakfast in room, pack lunch each day. Room was large for being in a city.

Clean and with all the amenities you'd expect for the price. The bathroom hair dryer kept shorting out, but I was provided with a working portable one without too much delay. The room's walls were a bit thin--I was woken up by neighbors at 8am on a Saturday--but otherwise we were quite happy with our room (and its blackout curtains!) and would return next time we're in Boston. Location was perfect, and parking was plentiful!

You did not say this was a YMCA. The room was not very clean. Old candy and peanut shells on the ground and the walls look like they have not been cleaned in years.

We came to Boston for both the 4th of July celebration and for a medical purpose. The good thing about staying at the Constitution Inn in Charlestown, MA is that the area seems to alway be safe. It is pleasant to walk around in on a nice evening. It is conveniently located near the Ferry boat that take you to Long Wharf in Boston. This makes it nice for getting to many attractions in the City. The Bad part of stay at the Constitution is that it is difficult to get bad and forth into the city once the MGH Shuttle stops running on the weekends. It would be good it there was a regular breakfast shop in the hotel but for the most part I could live without having a restaurant in the hotel. The Noisy part of my "last" stay was a group of people who checked into the room next to ours. The first thing they did was try to get into the room by way of the connecting door between the two rooms. Then the people in that room continued to wake us up several times during the night. We did complain several times and the front desk finally ejected them from the hotel by 7:00 AM in the morning. I suppose this was something. Overall, this hotel is good for the price. The rooms are comfortable. The only thing that could be improved about the room would be the bathroom. The sink in the bathroom is too small and there is no place to even set a toothbrush.

This Inn is colocated with the Boston Navy Yard YMCA, so it's very convienent if you want to work out. There is also great nearby tourist spots, as well as a local dining opportunities. The Inn is similar to an aging roadside motel, but adequate. My room on the 6th floor had a kitchenette with full size fridge, sink and oven.
