The Grosvenor Hotel London Guest Reviews
This was the perfect place for a weekend in London. With an entrance inside Victoria Station, there is no messing about with cabs or anything. Step off the train any you're there. We had a corner room, which made for a lot of street noise throughout the night, but the upgrades to the room made it worth it. The staff was really attentive and the breakfast each morning was great. Once the remodel is complete, it will be one of the prettiest hotels in the area. Definitely recommend it.

We stayed at the hotel for an overnight stay, and was pleasantly surpised to notice that there was an entrance to the hotel from Victoria Station, so no trekking around to find the hotel. There is also a cash machine and bureau de change at the station entrance, which is handy. We proceeded to check in and was impressed by the traditional but lavish decor. Upon checking in, we were pressed by the receptionist to upgrade our room. After 2 attemps at this, we figured it was due to the room not being ready - which he denied. After saying "right - just give us our room key then" he then let on that our room WASN'T ready and we would have to wait another 30 minutes (we arrived over an hour later than the specified check in time). It was after more pressing we managed to get an free upgrade after reminding them it was their issue, not ours. The room was small but lovely (although I wasn't convinced it was much of an upgrade as the room was a standard 4-star quality - nothing special) and the i-pod docking station was a nice touch. Check out was swift and no issues that time. All in all, a nice hotel, very good location - just a shame we felt like the staff were trying to pull a fast one when we checked in, as it would have been a 5-star review without that.

I won't be back to this hotel. So much disturbing noise from outside.

We booked a trip to London for two adults and two children. We had 2 rooms in the Wing of the hotel. For these renovated rooms, we had to pay 50 Pounds extra per room - at arrival. (Otherwise we would have got two old rooms). The rooms were rather small, but very nice and quiet. Hotel entrance, restaurant, bar, etc are beautiful. Staff is helpful. Location is great.

This is a good hotel if you need to go to the airport, because is around the corner to get the Gatwick express train. The inside of the room is ok but a little expensive, but in london everything is expensive.
