The Royal Ettrick Hotel Edinburgh Guest Reviews
WE thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the staff very helpful. The room was large and comfortable. The only down-side was that the hotel is some way from the centre, but this was less of a problem as the busstop was close by and the service good. The hotel was good value for money.

The hotel is on the outskirts of the City Centre, but easily accessible by bus or taxi. The hotel has a vibrant bar with a bar menu. Breakfast is excellent and would recommend having the haggis. Rooms are adequate with good decoration. However I did notice that cleaning was not excellent and some of the rooms we booked could do with decorating especially the attic room which had flaking paint on the ceilings due to damp and a loose window. Overall a good time was had and I would stay at the hotel again
