Very friendly staff!

Campanile Hotels are really much of a muchness, and one tends to be much like another. The plus for this one however is that there is free parking on site, and you can catch a tram nearby which gets you into central Antwerp much quicker than you can drive. The hotel itself was good, friendly staff, rooms a bit on the small side but spotlessly clean. Get a good price deal on this hotel and you will find it hard to beat!

This 3-star budget hotel is conveniently located close to the Antwerp Berchem railway station (however, in an urban / offices area), reasons for me to return regularly on my Belgian business trips. The facilities are basic but for a simple one night stay sufficient. Staff is helpful, restaurant is very basic but attractively priced. As the hotel is next to the motorway, avoid staying in a room on that side.

We had some comunications problems. When we booked, there are no informations about breakfast and we thought it is included. Specialy because, on reservation internet page, for meal we have to choice only beetwen lunch and dinner. When we received the key-room, the hotel personel give us the card for breakfast, without any mention about our option or about the price. Only at the end, when we payed the room, the receptionst told us about breakfast price (10 euro/day/person!). Of course, we payed. But is was quite unconfortable.

Very nice hotel, staff very helpful, ten minute walk to Berchem station, five minute walk for tram's to Antwerp central , tram Nos 8 and 11. Would use this hotel again in the future.
